Wow, this slideshow is eye-opening. They document all their facts. And the pictures don't lie.
Bring your cloth bags to Target, Walmart, the grocery store, everywhere. Sometimes I get paper bags (to hold our recycled paper in, since our town requires it to be in bags), but DO NOT use plastic. Please. It's a horrible waste.

It would be much better to have LOTS more tree huggers!
Most of what the beach cleaning exercises here gather is plastic stuff ...

plastic is just terrible, the sooner everyone realises that the better. Businesses as well as individual.
